The Swastika in Native American Culture

The Swastika was used by Native Americans long before the Nazis adopted the symbol.  The Native Americans often reffered to it as whirling log and it had a meaning of prosperity and positivity.  It was very popular with the mound builders who lived along the Mississippi River and in the Ohio valley.
